Hupp Jewelers has been a trusted part of the Indianapolis and Fishers communities for over 45 years, built on a foundation of honesty, personal service, and family values. Founded by Jerry and Lynn Hupp in 1977, the store has always been more than just a place to buy jewelry—it’s a place where relationships matter.

That tradition continues today with Angela who has been a part of Hupp Jewelers since 1984. She carries forward the commitment to warmth, integrity, and genuine care for every customer who walks through the door.

For more than 30 years, Angela has been a part of Hupp Jewelers—and since 2018 she has proudly led the store into a new chapter. What started as a part-time job at age 19 quickly grew into a lifelong calling: helping people celebrate life’s milestone events with the perfect piece of jewelry. Mentored by founders Jerry and Lynn Hupp, Angela continues the legacy they began in 1977.

Angela is GIA certified in diamonds and hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Butler University. Known for her expertise, honesty and approachable style, she’s more than a jeweler—she’s a trusted advisor and educator to her customers.

Outside of the store, Angela is a devoted wife and mother of two sons. She shares her home with the family pets Baron (a Bernese Mountain Dog rescue) and Rocky (a domestic short-haired cat rescue). In her free time, she enjoys music, horseback riding and traveling—always seeking inspiration and connection wherever she goes.

At Hupp Jewelers family isn’t just a part of the story, it IS the story. Angela’s husband Jim lends his expertise in IT, always ready to be a sounding board to lend support in decision making. Their son Ivan with a background in business and risk management offers valuable guidance and perspective, while son Erik has discovered his passion as the store’s highly skilled bench jeweler.

Together the Peterson family ensures the store runs as seamlessly behind the scenes as it does on the showroom floor. The Peterson family represents the next generation of Hupp Jewelers—honoring the traditions that began in 1977 while bringing fresh energy, ideas, and craftsmanship to carry the legacy forward.
